What Is Included in Every Reconditioned Engine?
Our comprehensive engine rebuilding specification includes the following work and replacement components.
- Engine block crack-tested
- Engine decoked and cleaned
- Cylinder head pressure-tested
- Crankshaft polished or reground as required
- Engine components sprayed
- Timing belts and/or chains, as applicable
- Main bearings and big-end bearings
- Head gasket
- Brand-new front and rear crankshaft seals
- New pistons and piston rings
- New oil pump
- New timing cover
- New sump pan
- New piston oil-cooling jets
- All valves reseated
- Six-month warranty
- Unlimited mileage during the warranty period
Warranty is subject to the written warranty terms supplied with your engine.
Part-Exchange Engine Policy
All reconditioned engines are sold on a part-exchange basis. The advertised engine price assumes you provide a usable exchange engine.
If you cannot supply a usable engine for exchange, an additional £250.00 + VAT surcharge applies. At the standard UK VAT rate of 20%, this is £300.00 including VAT.
Exchange engine acceptance is subject to inspection and confirmation by Transit Tech. Fitting, delivery and any other applicable charges are quoted separately.
