About Transit Tech

Transit Tech — Ford Transit Engine Specialists

Based in Hull, East Yorkshire, Transit Tech specialises in reconditioned Ford Transit engines for customers who need a dependable route back onto the road. We offer supply-only engines for customers using their own garage and supply-and-fit quotations for customers who would prefer us to arrange installation.

Our approach is straightforward: identify the correct engine, explain the options, set out the costs and confirm the order details before work begins. Ford Transit engines differ by year, drive layout, emissions standard and engine code, so we verify compatibility rather than relying on registration or engine capacity alone.

What makes our service different?
• Clear advertised engine prices, excluding VAT.
• Supply-only and supply-and-fit options.
• Nationwide engine supply, with delivery confirmed when quoting.
• Detailed rebuilding specification, including crack testing, cylinder-head pressure testing, crankshaft inspection and replacement internal components.
• Six-month warranty with unlimited mileage, subject to written warranty terms.

Our engines are offered on a part-exchange basis. The listed price assumes a usable exchange engine is provided. If you do not have a usable exchange engine, a £250 + VAT surcharge applies (£300 including VAT at 20%). Delivery, fitting and any additional consumables are quoted separately.

We are based at 4 Lodges Business Park, Oak Road, Hull, HU6 7PG. Contact us before visiting so we can discuss your engine requirements and arrange a suitable time.

Need an engine? Send us your registration, vehicle year, engine code if known and whether you require supply only or supply and fit. We will help you confirm the next steps.
